A finished chart makes structure look settled. At the right edge, however, the swing is unfinished and the breakout may still fail. Useful replay preserves that uncertainty.

Cover every candle after the decision point. Mark only confirmed highs and lows, the nearest areas of prior response, and any event risk you had actually noted. Write two plausible scenarios before revealing the next candle.

Advance one candle at a time. When your condition appears, record the action before moving forward. If you change the setup definition, mark the change instead of editing the first note.

Finally compare the replay record with your original journal. The aim is not to produce a perfect historical call. It is to see whether the same chart facts lead you to the same decision language.
